Magnesium-Rich Bedtime Brownies
Sometimes when you have children, it’s fun (and sometimes necessary!) to find creative ways to get a little extra nutrition into their diet — especially when the battle over taking supplements feels endless.
In our house, sometimes we like to enjoy a little after-dinner treat, and lately I’ve been making these Magnesium-Rich Bedtime Brownies — a delicious, but low sugar way to add extra Magnesium, Collagen, and our Organic Mood Elixir into their routine. and help calm their bodies for sleep and provide a nourishing protein boost to support deep, restorative rest.
Both magnesium and collagen play an important role in sleep:
✨ Magnesium helps relax muscles, soothe the nervous system, and regulate melatonin production — all critical for falling asleep and staying asleep.
✨ Collagen provides amino acids like glycine, which research suggests may promote deeper, more restful sleep and support overnight muscle and tissue repair.
Here’s my simple recipe:

1 cup gluten-free flour

1 cup monk fruit/erythritol blend

6 pastured eggs

250g organic grass-fed butter, melted

180g Vego hazelnut chocolate, melted

3 tablespoons collagen

6–8 droppers Swan & Mantis Magnesium Colloid

3 tablespoons Swan & Mantis Mood Elixir
Method:

Preheat your oven to 180°C

In a large bowl, mix all dry ingredients together.

Add the wet ingredients and mix well until fully combined.

Pour the batter into a lined baking tray.

Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until just set but still fudgy.

Allow to cool slightly before slicing into squares.
